Since 1999, over 13,000 jurisdictions have participated in the BVP Program, with a total of $573 million in federal funds for the purchase of over 1.5 million body armor vests.

You can apply online during the open enrollment period. Every year open enrollment is announced on the BVP website. To enroll agencies will need to identify the quantity, NIJ Model #, and estimated cost of GH Armor vests desired for your eligible officers.

All certified models are eligible for BVP funding and may be purchased from any GH Armor Distributor. See chart below for eligible GH Armor models.
